“The decisions of Congress have put WMO in a strong position to fully participate in the post 2015 international agenda, We have charted a clear path forward that will enable Members to better contribute to the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for 2015-2030, the Post-2015 UN Development Agenda and to improve our understanding of climate variability and change through the provision of fit for purpose services underpinned by investments in science and technology.”

 ——2015年6月12日，WMO每四年一次的大会闭幕，WMO主席David Grimes先生信心满满地对这次会议给出评价。本次大会通过了2016—2019年WMO总计26.62亿瑞士法郎的预算，较前一个4年增长了2%。
