Following the Met Office's successful launch into Germany at Wind Energy Hamburg in 2014, considerable investment has been made to appoint local representation in Hamburg and integrate fully into renewable energy clusters and working groups across Germany.      ——日前英国气象局官方宣布，已经和两家德国海上风电场建设项目签订了在电厂建设和试运行期间提供预报服务的合同。据悉，这两份合同涉及的海上风电场，均位于北海德国湾的西南部。其中，Nordsee One GmbH公司建设的54涡轮发电机年发电3.32亿瓦项目计划在2017年4月完成；而Veja Mate公司承担的Array Cable项目的建设大约从2016年8月开始到2017年3月完成，包含67个涡轮发电机，总计年发电能力达4.02亿瓦。在谈到这两份合同时，英国气象局欧洲商业开发部负责人Hayley Wallbank做了如上表述。
